Once again, I've forgotten about this blog. I was looking at a mah jongg blog and somehow ended here.

Happy New Year

Wow - I started this blog a few years ago and forgot all about it. I guess I don't have too much to say. Elliott would probably disagree.

2009 wasn't a great year...mostly because of the economy. We're hoping that 2010 is better. The best thing that happened in 2009 was the arrival of little Naomi. She landed in NY on September 2nd...what a wonderful day. Of course the time leading up to her arrival was, at times, very frustrating for her immediate family. But it all worked out in the end. She is absolutely adorable. Ruthie continues to be our very favorite first granddaughter. And she's a wonderful big sister. Hard to believe she's going to be 8 this year. Time does fly. She's a very bright and sweet 2nd grader. It seems like only yesterday she was Naomi's age.

I actually got to see Michelle three times in 2009 - so that was another good thing. I went to SF in March by myself - then we went again in October for our 43rd wedding anniversary. Then Michelle came here for Thanksgiving - something she hasn't been able to do in YEARS. It was wonderful.

I am anxious to see what this looks like on my page.

My first blog

Hi - I haven't done one of these yet - I have no idea what I'm doing. I guess I'll learn. I have to do something now that I'm retired :-)
